How to choose a weighted vest
A weighted vest (in German: Gewichtsweste) adds load to running, walking, pull-ups and bodyweight workouts like Murph without changing the movement. A good vest sits tight on the upper body and does not bounce when you run.
Weight: start light. Many athletes train with around 6 to 9 kg (14 to 20 lb) for workouts like Murph.
Fit: a plate-carrier style vest keeps the load high and close to the body, which feels better when running.
Adjustable: vests with removable weight packs grow with you; extra packs are available separately.

Frequently asked questions
How heavy should my weighted vest be?
Start with a weight you can run and move with good form, often 6 to 9 kg. Increase only when the workout still feels controlled.
Is a weighted vest good for Hyrox training?
Yes, for walking, lunges and conditioning. Keep the load moderate so your running form stays clean.
Can I add weight to my vest later?
With vests that use removable weight packs, yes. Check the product page for compatible packs.
